Stupid people on the mike, regardless of their race, religion, or orientation,
suck. But I don't think political correctness is the issue here.

Drum and Bass in particular grew as a grass roots thing with black working
class kids in England. Many (if not all) of the originators are black, and
the Jungle MC'ing is usually in a UK Urban Black patois.

White kids trying to sound like UK black MC's are going to be pretty
bad, and it doesn't have anything to do with racism -- the white kids
don't have the cultural context and connection to pull it off. They're
just aping what they've heard.

On the other hand, anyone who can find a unique voice should step up.

Suburban white kids singin the blues sounds pretty lame too.

The 'lame' line isn't a color line. It's a matter of originators vs.
imitators. Originators have their own thing going, and imitators are,
to use the technical term, "sucka MCs."
