I think the problem there lies in the A-145 having only a +/-2.5 volt range. That is pretty low for a LFO, lower than the A-143-3, A-143-4 and most other companies LFOs. I understand your disagreement but one can say if you need a larger modulation range, use a A-183-3 or similar module. Maybe the compromise could be with an internal jumper for the range of the variable CV in. That would satisfy both purposes.
