There were also two separate Studio 1 Variationen 12"s that each had two variations that were not on the cd (var14-17). All the Stuidio 1 - Variationen releases came out in 1997. It was my first introduction to Thomas Brinkmann and, i believe, one of his first releases. The styles of all the variations is in the ultra minimal techno/tech-house vein in a similar style to the original Studio 1 records and not unlike Brinkmann's Ernst eps. -->-Lance--- xxxxxxx@xxxx.xxx xxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
