So, I like _GHOST_ a helluva lot. Can anyone give me a review, suggestions, about _In VErsion_. SOme friend's description was "It's wimpy compared to GHOST" this didn't tell me shit about In Version, so I come to you and ask for some help. If you like it, this store I was at said it was very limited and they have many copies available for $9! Lemme know..... Do you have the Semtex album and 12" (which is getting hard to find, so if you see it, I would buy it...)? I would get these before getting In Version, because they're more consistent (well, The Semtex 12" is just two songs, one of which is _amazing_ if a bit "normal" for the TEF, neither of which are on Semtex the album). In Version has some wonderful segments, but a lot of it is devoted to the kind of Bristol guitar sound they came from, which is not terribly IDM at all (which might not bother you, but it seems to bother some people an inordinate amount). None of it sounds like Ghost at all, really, except in tone. "Sound of Violence" is Ghostish, but in a very different way. I still haven't decided if I like it - really brutal, uncompromising, noisy "drill and bass" (a far more apt description for this ep than for Squarepusher, except there's no bass). Personally, I just buy them all. --- the humble abbott arthur purvis set his hand hereto
