Various - Organised By Reel - Reel - PVine PCD5410. This is an interesting release. I had not heard any Reel output other than Daniel Ibbotson's full length 'New Stories' and the associated 12" from the same title. Overall the tone is detroit influenced. Not full on lush, but quirky nonetheless. The B12 tracks stand out as does the Deepart. The CSM ( john beltran remix ) reminds me of the sound heard on Beltran's full length - Moving Through Here. Complex sounds that get dispensed one after another, and then layered over and through each other. The overall tone is a disturbed Jazz quality with breaks and many unexpected twists and turns. Takes you a while to understand what they are doing with each undulating track then once you get it, it flows.
