Mogwai _Fear Satan Remixes_ eye q (eyeuk032) 1 mogwai remix a river of stringed distortion really does remind me of my bloody valentine with this swelling texture woven through small synth bits that aren't quite quick enough to be melody, not scattered enough to be accident. 2 =B5-ziq remix at the outset this sounds more guitar driven than the first track but as the signature bubbling beat crunch of paradinas (circa _vs. auteurs_) arrives, we are treated to the noodly little keyboard melodies which are hummable even amidst the growing ruckus. a real treat for my ears. 3 surgeon remix the huge ever growing pulsating wave of treated mutant distorted string and such that arrives from the center speaker of a surround sound system. or so. 4 my bloody valentine remix it's got a beat and you can't dance to it because it attacks with odd offbeat antikilters that precede that immenseness were your ears and brain lobes cannot seem to agree on whether to run for cover, soil yourself, dive for 'stop', or orgasm. then after relief in the form of momentary ambience the beat kicks back in with that terminator 'it's not dead yet' quality that sets you back on edge for the remainder of this sixteen minute oscilloscape. worth what i paid (nine us dollars) even after medical bills braddled=0A
