Yup, it's still coming, sometime in middle to late fall... The original
publishing date was early this year, but fortunately we got a few extra few
months to pack in many more artists (over 1000 total) and reviews (by
list-members Sean Cooper and myself, among others).

Our nominal focus is electronic(a), but we also covered the old-school
electronic influences that always get name-checked -- from Cluster to
Jean-Jacques Perrey to Mantronix to Ash Ra Tempel to LaMonte Young to
Durutti Column -- with plenty of room for all yr IDM favorites like Mouse on
Mars, Boards of Canada, Pole, Funkstorung, Push Button Objects, etc. and
even a few former/current list-members (Solvent, Kid-606, maybe even
Autechre!). I'll e-mail once again when we're closer to the publishing
date...

I know I'm biased, but I think it'll be fun. We made the book as inclusive
as possible, so don't be surprised or offended if you see an alphabetical
progression like Cabaret Voltaire, Cabbageboy, John Cage, Cajmere, Can,
Cappella, Wendy Carlos, Derrick Carter (it's in there!). These artists have
much more in common than most people would like to admit, and just
personally speaking, I love throwing a bunch of things in the blender and
seeing how it turns out...
