I think when people talk about the recent UNKLE full-length not being as monumental as the early stuff, this is some of the early stuff their talking about. The original (on this record) still has got to be one of the funkiest head-nodding tracks of all time. Blows away the version on the 'Headz' comp. Just as essential IMO is the killer Portishead Vs. UNKLE track on side b. This and other Dummy-era remixes really solidified my respect for Portishead, putting them miles ahead of the other various vocal/electronic hybrids (EbtG, Lamb, Sneaker Pimps, Morcheeba, whoever). Also includes two Plaid remixes (I think it's 2, maybe just 1). - Brad
