} i picked up the ant-zen box set recently (highly recommended - the best in

} called stone glass steel. the track itself was not immediately impressive,
} but it sparked a memory. i had their album from '92 (?) on some TINY
} american label from st louis, missouri, but i lost it. it was great - full
} of really experimental noisy stuff, microtonal scales, etc. does anyone
} know any information about these guys?
stone glass steel also have a track ("violent grace") on the _invisible
domains_ cd compilation from malignant records. in the liner notes under
stone glass steel is the info: phil easter c/o tone casualties, 1258 n.
highland ave., hollywood, cd 90038. other than that i don't know anything
else about them. indicentally, i'd highly recommend this compilation if you
are into experimental/noise/ambient. also on it are tracks by lull,
illusion of safety, voice of eye, yen pox, vromb, soldnergeist, contraste,
kirchenkampf, maeror tri. oh yeah, the compilation's theme is "sonic
illustrations of the infiltration of viruses" so the mood is a bit dark,
which you might have already guessed by some of the artists listed. :)
