The Winter Music Conference came and went and I got to hear some crazy music! More on that in a different post... On Monday night Mixmaster Morris played a beautiful set @ Mission in South Beach. Afterwards I was talking to him and asked him about a track he spun at a party in Puerto Rico last year. It begins with a woman talking about overcoming her anxiety attacks -- really tripped out sample (according to MMM it's from ER out of all places) -- and then a beautiful synth lines comes in. At any rate, Mr. Morris said that it was rereleased on Soma in a compilation called "Small Change". Can anybody help me locate the artist, release and any other information about this track? Optimally I'd like to get it on vinyl but if I have to buy a CD in order to get it in my collection that would be fine. Any and all leads are greatly welcomed... Peace, Pedro Cevallos -- "...beginning in the fourteenth century, the clock made us into time-keepers, and then time-savers, and now time-servers. In the process, we have learned irreverence toward the sun and the seasons, for in a world made up of seconds and minutes, the authority of nature is superseded." -- Neil Postman -- http://www.geocities.com/mr_cevallos/ _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: xxx-xxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx For additional commands, e-mail: xxx-xxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx
