yes, i'm listening to it now. the first disc is fucked-up techno stuff, similar to dave's first lp "time music of quazars" but much cleaner...a lot of 4/4 dance stuff, but seriously trancy with lots of squelchiness, analog sequencer-ish patterns, and lots of feeding back delays and stuff. the second disc is largely beatless, droning evil ambient stuff with all sorts of weird noises floating about, similar to the stuff dave puts on the cassettes he distributes...
i don't know what to expect from them live, i don't know whether it will be techno-y or not. probably some of each. there are three or four people in the band when they play live, it's not just one guy tweaking knobs. i'll see in person soon, if dave remembers to put me on the guest list...
