as some of you may remember, i work for my school's radio station. i spent a while going through the huge piles of CDs and vinyl, looking for anything interesting and playable. there wasn't much. my question is: we're on the mailing lists of a few big labels, and we do occasionally get some interesting things (not all idm.. but found some Sheep on Drugs, Coldcut, BT...) most, though, is rap. i'd like to get some more interesting things to play, if possible... so, should i write to some record labels? should i attn: it to anyone? does anyone know the addresses of warp, skam, clear, mo wax, planet mu (are they still around?), rephlex, etc...? (anyone idmish is great, these are just the ones off the top of my head early in the morning.) the radio show is fun, and i do have enough stuff to last a while, but some new music would be very cool.. thanks for any help, j.
