my opinion was that she was probably one of the worst dj's i've seen bar
none(skill wise)...the word mixing has absolutely no meaning to
her....she does make decent music but as far as djing is
concerned....the word dj is quite incorrect....nothing in her set was
"mixed" per say....just when one song ended...she crossed the fader into
the next song....as far as technicality it was horrible.....now why she
is allowed to get up and embarass herself...the only explanation i can
think of is because shes a girl(nothing personal to IDM girls(no idmgirl
threads please))....the dj kicks cd has to be the biggest sham since who
knows what..but deffinitely not her mixing on that cd...another note on
her performance, about 1/2 at least of her set was her songs as he
mentioned....but i wont go off on that tangent...nonetheless i'll end
off on a good note saying that i do for the most part like her music, if
not to diverse but still decent sounding. she was deffinitely the most
dissapointing act of the whole winter music conference(notice i didnt
say worst...worst would have to go to wink or icey or some bullshit like
that)..anyway....ummm i think ill let this lead into my review of the
wmc....ahh ill put it in another email...anyway....if i want beautiful
i'll go to a strip bar...if i want music i'll go see a decent
dj.....dont confure the 2.
