Someone asked me whether there was a Purpose Maker 005, and I said "not yet". I can't remember which list, put I figure this is of some interest anyway. It's out: PURPOSE MAKER PM-005 Steampit EP Alarms (First Mix), Native High, Automatic, Ride The Rythm Produced and mixed by Jeff Mills 12" EP If you liked the previous releases, you will be pleased. If you aren't familiar with the earlier EPs, this is pounding, Detroit-style techno, with the usual sounds and rhythms skewed and crunched into more abstract, wavy patterns. --Mark
