heard bits of the plaid album last night. From what I heard I was
impressed. My complaint that plaid when not remixing has no emotion is no
longer applicable (at least to the bits I heard). Lots of funk on this
one. I listened to the nothing CDR promo so it should be available state
side.

Also, listened to the new autechre (again a CDR promo on nothing) and I
liked it. Not as dense as LP5 but some of the same thoughts/ideas
(definitely evolved though) are there. And I do agree that there is a
definite down tempo/hip hop feel (though it is really twisted). I have
really been enjoying autechre's output since the envane ep (probably more
so than their earlier output). It is amazing that we have all these bands
who sound like autechre while autechre doesn't sound like autechre
anymore.
