I don't know if their records are widely available in international distribution, but I always recommend everyone to check out CIRCLE, a Finnish band in that vein, and also their sub-project EKTROVERDE. I've seen some of their live gigs and they have been trance-inducing, ecstatic, sublime, to say the least. If they lived in US, they'd record for Thrill Jockey and be at the cover of every hip indie rag.
