I don't think anything's been mentioned about this on the list yet, but Warp has some 10th anniversary special releases planned. Here's the information from the news page at Warp Net: Warp is ten years old this year and as rumoured we are planning some extra special birthday releases and some top live nights for Octoberish: Influences - A compilation of tracks that moved people in Sheffield 10 years or so ago, and inspired Rob and Steve to start Warp as a record label. It's basically a compilation of top tunes. Old gits can sigh reflectively and go "back in the day" a lot while listening/rushing to it and pimply youngsters will go "i wish people made music like this nowadays". Or something. Classics - A compilation of all the best old Warp tunes (taken from WAP1-20) on 2 CDs and four 12"s cut loud. Tracks like "LFO", "Dextrous", "Track With No Name", "Hey Hey! Can U Relate?" "I'm For Real" etc. Remixes - We got a load of our favorite artists that aren't signed to warp and some of our own crew to remix whatever they wanted from the Warp archive... Some interesting choices - here's the list of remixers, you'll have wait to see what they mixed though :), again it's a 2CD job and four pieces of vinyl in a lush box. Andy Votel, Autechre, Bogdan Raczynski, Ellis Island Sound, Four Tet, Isan, Jim O'Rourke, Jimi Tenor, John McEntire, Labradford, Luke Vibert, Mira Calix, Mogwai, Oval, Plaid, Plone, Pram, Push Button Objects, Red Snapper, Richard Devine, Stereolab, Surgeon, To Rococo Rot, Underdog, Winston and Ross, Wunder.
