Irene,
Using EZCDCD, the best way to do this is probably to edit the wav files
individually by adding to the ends of each file. This involves opening up
the Sound editor and adding to the ends of the wavs. The problem is that
editing wavs takes time - escpecially if you are adding to tracks. Given
that you are probably trying to do this in less time, here's what I would
do...:
1) Create whatever length.WAV files you want (for those seconds of silence)

2) Create your Audio layout, with these .WAV files
     between each track.
3) Highlight track 1 & 2, select the "Effects" menu item, and
     select, "Merge Tracks".
4) Repeat step three for tracks 3 & 4... to the end of the
    layout.
5) Burn it!

I'm not sure this prog allows one to set varying time gaps between tracks.
As I'm sure you know, it burns TAO default (inserting the 2 second gap) and
an also be set to burn DAO (laser stays on, no gap at all) by skipping the
wizard and going to the "advanced" menu in the user interface. If you have
3.01d or above, you can also overburn and use 80 min media if you cancel
the wizard and simply ignore the warning. NOW...if you want a prog which
will allow you much more control over all of those things, you need Sonic
Foundry's CD Architect, especially used in tandem with Sound Forge.
