(idm) avant-garde, skills, etc. (re:reynolds)

I tend to think there is an illusion of technical complexity in a lot of IDM
that tends to fool non-geeks. I know a number of highly skilled people who
can replicate the sounds and style w/o much effort. That doesn't mean it
would have the same feel but they can certainly replicate the sounds.

Also, I would be kind of interested in knowing what is the baseline for
"skilled" and "complex" music in IDM.
