I seek the advice of any resident geeks, knob twiddlers and/or audio
software buffs:
I have a few decent apps for denoising tapes/vinyl on the way to cdr
(and manuals for a few as well - they just aren't too specific),
particularly DART, Steinbergs DeNoiser, Sonic Foundry and several WAVES
plug-ins. My question is this : what's the optimum way to use this stuff
in terms of particular settings (denoising, restoring the high-end
afterward, etc)? I'm especially clueless when it comes to the WAVES
stuff, which I'm betting is the bees knees in this dept. Any clues would
be vastly appreciated.
Obligatory IDM content : Hoow does "Navy Warships" compare next to say,
