Newbuild has great historical significance, I'll concede, I mean,

- Gerald Simpson was a prominent member of the band
- how many other acid house ALBUMS were there at the end of 1988?
- how much acid house music at that time was so very Acid and so barely House?

However, on its own musical merit, I think it's a bit overrated. "Flow
Coma" and "Narcossa" are exceptional, but the other 5 cuts are not nearly
as thrilling, and taken as a whole, the album doesn't belong in any trophy
cases.

Just my humble opinion.
