> 2-Who is behind this amazing JUTTA / INGE 4 tracks..???? and is Brinkmann > Max Ernst , Max Ernst & friends 4 tracks Ep does not sound as a Brinkmann > release...Check Brinkmann unreleased tracks on m-nus site. Alright... 3 Labels. Max, Ernst, and Max Ernst. Max has two records out, 1) Brinkmann's Alex/Bernd 2) some Markus Schmickler early acid project (!). Ernst has five out, all Brinkmann all sides have woman's names. 1) Anna/Beate 2) Clara/Doris 3) Erika/Frauke 4> Gisela/Heidi 5) Inge/Jutte. All of these have four tracks two on each side. Max Ernst has but one record out, 1) Max Ernst & friends. Two Brinkmann tracks. and 'variations' Brinkmann did for Triple-R and Philus. Or so I'm told. There's also Suppose. Which has two records. a 12" called 'Voran' and a CD called 'Totes Rennen' these are credited to Ester Brinkman... an individual who just may exist... On the 'Ernst' series... (and this is just part of why they're great) Brinkmann writes tracks that line up perfectly so that each bar starts at the exact same 'spot' on the record (by using a tempo of133.333~ bpm). They're simple, effective tracks. He has Pole make mothers/plates of each track at D&M. Then, he takes a scalpel to the plates, adding rhythmic scrapes, scratches, & gouges to the existing grooves, adding sonic textures otherwise unavailable in the tracking process. When the records themselves are pressed, they are not only beautiful to listen to, they are the most VISUALLY appealing records (the grooves themselves; they seem to radiate directly OUTWARD from the center label) I've seen in some time. More so than the Tony Conrad 7" on TOTE (which, while playing, seems to change the direction it's spiralling every 30 seconds).
