here are some new things that have crept into my collection that i
recommend. pretty idm related.

NOTE: each one of these releases is *very* different from the rest.

1. chris watson - outside the circle of fire (touch)
this is a fine fine fine fine ambient-ish release. various close up
field recordings of various animals. pretty odd, but quite fun.

2. john wiese - cat woman is a cat vampire 7"
odd noise/drone from southern california. i paid $2.99. such a deal.

3. aube - cerebral disturbance (anomalous)
noisey. but really nice at points, quite intense at others. i guess
these recordings are somehow made from/based on brain waves.. pricey as
hell -- most likely to pay for the nice (but a little overdone) packaging.
aube puts out some of my favorite noise material (for the record, my
favorite "noise" release would have to be the christoph heeman/merzbow
collaboration -- not at all related to aube:)

4. voice of eye - live 12", recorded in SF and whittier, ca. (anomalous)
voice of eye creates some of the most drifty ambient/drone i have heard.
really, when i listen to this stuff, i feel quite removed from myself.
whatever that means. tons of layered, dark, alien sounds and rhythms.

5. phonic driver - bloody sunday (audio illusion recordings)
found this in the hardcore section of dr. freeclouds -- marked as
hardcore, breakcore and jungle. quite insane and noisey. any adventerous
hardcore fan should take note. reminds me of the stuff on ambush/praxis.

6. ark (brif)
another fine french house record -- well, sorta.. house, with a bit of hip
hop/trip hop and funky flavoring. herbert fans (dr rockit, radio boy)
should take note.

7. we are the world lp.
swap meet. $.50

tis all for now :)
