I'm a bit confused ... got a letter from dem VVMers telling me bout their night at the LUX on Friday but then also noticed that at the SCRATCH night, at the Spitz, on this Friday too, the lineup is:- V/VM Speedranch Richard Thomas Third Eye Foundation Stock,Hausen and Walkman Twisted Science Scratch DJs Tony Morley, Jon Tye & Rob Young. Does anyone know what's happening, are the VVMers playing both? but then also, there's another blindin night on this Friday too :- 'AMERICAN PIONEERS, Innovators, rule breakers & iconoclasts'. At the Barbican, 8pm. TERRY RILEY teaming up with Jarvis and all da PULP posse, Smith quartet & guests. Where Terry Riley's gonna perform Riley's 'In C',Good Medicine plus other works. Plus, a UK premiere of 'MissiGono' perfomred by Riley himself on piano and voice. Plus later on, Spring Heel Jack are doing a special set they've arranged on 10 turntables, plus Paul Hartnoll from Orbital & Jason Pierce from Spiritualized djing. There is also a free pre-concert show by Gamelan Degung at 6.30pm. (might be gettin on da guestie for da Pulp night but if not, then HOW to decide??? I totallyotally LOVE da big man Jarvis, and this night sounds amaaaazin but then so does the Scratch one? ohhhh why did they both have to be on da same bloomin night? Humph! :( Aless
