I wasn't going to reply to the original post but after seeing the below
response I have decided to.

These postings hyping lex can only hurt him. One of the reasons people
were displeased with the release on orange is that people made it out to
be the best thing since sliced cheese. When people bought the record it
did not live up to that. It may have been a very fine release but since
it did not live up to expectations people saw it in a different light.

by proclaiming lex to be the next big thing you (you referring to everyone
that keeps hyping this kid) are setting him up for failure. When the
release comes out on MAS people will tear it apart because it did not live
up to claims made. Even if the record is great it will not be perceived
as such because people's ecpectations cannot be matched.

want to help lex? review his work and do not make wild claims. That is do
not make biased statements and treat the work as you would treat anyone
elses. if you cannot do that then do not review it.

of course this is just idm centric. There is a whole world out there who
is not on the list who will buy the records based on their personal
preference.

just don't want to see anymore lex is god vs. lex isn't god posts.

talk about music or something.
