This solves a lot of ergonomic problems. The problem with some of the
6-tier A-frame stands and floor-to-ceiling wallmount shelvings that have
been discussed is that, although they certainly do give you a way to
mount dozens of keyboards in a room, most of them are going to be in
positions that will give you a lot of exercise reaching them, much less
playing them.

It is better to decide how many keyboards your studio has room to sit in
front of comfortably, preferably never more than two tiers deep (since
you're going to be standing up and sitting down a lot if you have more
tiers than that), and put the rest in storage for another day, another
project.

In theory, Midi would allow you to remotely control the whole room from
a knob surface or a computer editor. In practice, we all know how great
the Midi facility was in some of the ancient 80's equipment we like to
accumulate. Really, the only editor for a lot of it is the control
panel of the actual synth. You're just going to have to figure out how
many keyboards you can access comfortably in your room, and live with
that.
