All that deep white noise is part of the trademark
basic channel/chain reaction/mauritizo/burial mix
sound. It gives their tracks a very deep organic feel. 
Believe it or not it's quite difficult to intentionally 
add that type of noise to a track and have it sound
like random noise. One of the better artists at
this type of white noise is Pole. Check his two
eps on Kiff and Din. And it's no surprise that
before Pole released his own music he helped
the Basic Channel guys add that white noise
to their records.    : )
