I usually make a point of avoiding those people. they prefer to listen to experimental music because they just have to be that cutting edge. true again. It's interesting to know what "cutting edge" means in a relative sense to the listener. I would never make a personal association with anyone solely based on their musical tastes. In my experience, the people with the most esoteric and "sophisticated" musical tastes are the least fun to be around.
