DFZ is actually less dancefloor oriented then was originally anticipated, but it does have a few somewhat abstract latenight dancefloor groovers and a lot of really sweet jazzy tunes. DFZ was a very difficult album for Jonah to make for a variety of reasons and he was only comfortable with me hearing mostly rough bits and pieces along the way up until he came to NY to master the album with me in January. RealTime was an intermediate stage, experimenting with the beginnings of the concept that was flushed out completely on DFZ. It's a glorious record, one that may take a few listens to get their head around for some, but definitely one to savor. Jonah will be performing live at Astralwerks' WMC party on the Saturday night at The Cameo Theatre. If you're in the area, make sure you check it out. Peter Wohelski (ex) Astralwerks
