IIRC, Washington State law actually makes it a crime to forge your =
return address. Of course, that=E2=80=99s the most difficult thing to =
prosecute, because how do you prove the real sender? Note: IANAL

This is most likely a setting in the mailing list software. But I =
don=E2=80=99t know whether it=E2=80=99s list-wide or per-user.
