Re: (idm) BOC, the lost sessions....

Do you still not find it strange though that no one has come out and said -
"Oh yeah! Hooper Bay...I've got one of those" or "Yeah, I found one of
those".
You see, no matter how rare (100 copies....20 copies) one will surely always
turn up. Like the guy who auctioned a Mask 200 on ebay recently.....no more
proof of its existence needed. I collect Two Lone Swordsmen and Sabres
remixes/releases (I can assure you there are loads) and one that was
released in 98 has only just turned up, but it has turned up. A lucky find?
Maybe but its there in existence.
On a personal note if I had one of these records then I would want to tell
people and share it with people, if its any good that is (a whole other
argument...)

But as I said, it seems to me to be one massive great scam. The whole BOC
hype machine is building up nicely again, not only on these lists but in the
music press too. When is their new album out again? As much as we want to
believe otherwise, sales is probably the top target for a label such as Warp
these days.

If it is just a scam, its a top one....if not then I am sure there are other
people on these lists that know so much more than me. Care to share?

I would scetptically suggest this would fall into the "if" category. If the
guys there can't be arsed to make tapes for likeminded fans what hope of
encoding the audi for the www? Two hopes.....
