well, to buy the music i like in stores, i have to travel an hour or so
(usually). [extreme points follow] so is that to say that i should start
buying top40 because at least i can go into a store and pick it up? should
i stop buying your records, jeff and peter, because my local stores don't
carry them? ;)

see what i mean? that's a really extreme view, of course, but what i'm
saying is don't denigrate me - pity me. :)
it was a boon when borders came to my town. granted borders ain't exactly
a giant of social justice, but at least it's a store that understands that
music is art, not product.
