I have to admit that I haven't had the time to properly follow this
thread. But I disagree about not slagging something. The amount of
HYPE surrounding some artists and labels is sometimes rather ridiculous.

It seems like some people either don't really listen to the music or
they just absolutely refuse that some idm artists can put out stuff
that isn't always brilliant.

A certain amount of slagging can cut through some of this BS that you
"some" of you guys hype. I couldn't even begin to count the number of
times that some people have expressed their discontent, from buying
stuff they read was "great".

Personally, I think the Jega lp was a big let down after hearing their
first single. It's an ok lp IMHO, definitely not one that gets even a
medium rotation on my stereo. I thought his tracks on MASK 100 & 200
weren't that great either.

What kills most e-coms for me is that alot of people aren't critical
enough or just hype anything remotely IDM-oriented. Reading great
things about mediocre music makes me wary about trusting opinions on
the list. Stop polishing turds.
