i called up piccadilly records about four weeks ago after finding out
that they'll have all the vvm stuff. i ordered VVMT-0001, which is a
12" called soundscapes, it came with five pieces of paper with more vvm
weirdness, must have been a small pressing because four out of five of
the sheets of paper were actually printed out on somebodies laser
printer. i also ordered one copy of the christmas 12". for some
strange reason they sent me three copies, all with a tinsel glued to
extended hand of the "person?" on the sleeve of the 7". on the other
side of the sleeve there is a picture of a large man's face (along with
other things), on one sleeve his eyes are blue, on another they are
yellow, and on another they don't look colored. and it was definitely
done by hand, looks like a sharpie...all five tracks on the 7" sound
like dark ambient christmas songs gone very very wrong, they all have a
very
im-spending-christmas-with-my-bottle-of-scotch-and-santa's-gonna-kill-me
feeling to them.
if anybody wants to trade anything, for one of my extra vvm x-mas 7"s
then get in touch.
