This week's Wild Kingdom will dip into the catalog of Amsterdam label 100% Pure, run by Dylan Hermelijn. Like the Evolute "Dutch Treat" a couple of weeks ago, the set will be a cursory introduction to the label, consisting of about 16 tracks. In two weeks, the next segment will feature Utrecht label U-Trax and sub-label Phoq U, followed in another two weeks by a set of dirty dutch electro. The Signum label will be left for a feature I'm planning on Dutch artist Maarten van der Vleuten. I will most likely do a set of early Djax material in the future, as it it would be a nice introduction to several influential Lowlands artists. Suggestions for other Lowlands bits are welcome - surprise me if you can... "The Wild Kingdom" airs on KFJC-FM 89.7, Saturday night/Sunday Morning, 12A-3A (7A-10A GMT). You can also check out archived playlists from my first KFJC show "Just Desserts" that aired on Fridays 10P-2A from 1992 through 1999.
