Subject: Re: [AH] MatrixBrute opinions?

i really like the Matrixbrute for various reasons:

1. sounds great and aggresive, if you want!

2. sound desing-wise is tops!

3. the matrix is fantastic! it is like having 256 multiple modules and
256 cv mixers with attenuverters!

4. the 12 cv inputs let you use your modulars to make insanely complex =
sounds. the 12 cv outputs give you 12 modulation matrix sources (going =
to the 12 modulation matrix destinations) as CV outputs, to control many =
other things in your modulars or other analog synths! (although, for the =
CV outputs, the cv range is a bit wierd.... sometimes it is 0-10 volts, =
other times it is -5 to +5volts, or....? i cannot remember, sorry, i =
measured these many months ago.... but of course with the right =
attenuation everything can be adjusted to the range you want i guess...)

5. its effects are real analog BBD-based effects and sound warm and =
nice.

6. the sound shaping capabilities are outstanding and enough to keep you =
busy for more than one full lifetime.

things that i would like the matrixbrute to have:

1. in the modulation matrix, to have the VCO waveforms as modulation=20
sources (like the VCS3 has).
2. a ring modulator.

that's it.

IMHO, it is a future classic and it is really worth its price!

best regards,
Bakis.
