Philip: Dettinger's newest is actually "Puma" (Kompakt 6, came out about a
month ago; the "Blonde" ep came out earlier in the year). Not sure which
"other Dettinger" you're referring to (ie. if it's the uptempo vinyl Dettinger
or the downtempo CD Dettinger). Anyway, Puma and Blonde are along
the same lines, quality uptempo minimal Cologne style grooviness. If
you like the Joachim Spieth ABI '99 EP you mentioned, then you'll
be into the Dettinger vinyl (it's *not* the same, but it's in the same
ballpark so to speak). The Dettinger CD that came out recently
is more downtempo listening oriented material. Hope this helps.
