I'm not sure why people are getting so worked-up about the MASK re-release
joke. Yes I'd be upset too if I spent hours trying to track them down in
vain,
but the level of vitriol in some of the messages seems excessive. I realize
it's not quite the same thing, but surely we've had these made-you-look
cases
before, with the Caustic Window comp and others.
Having listened to the MASK 1 and 2, I want to say: they're ok but not
mindblowing. I think it's the kind of music that sounds better and better if
you keep thinking about how incredibly rare it is while listening to it. You
know, you get that warm and fuzzy feeling knowing you are hot shit who owns
incredibly rare records, and knowing you can impress millions by writing to
IDM to drop names of those records ever so casually. ^_^
BTW I don't have the MASKs, so please don't ask me to sell them.
