To everybody who responded to my query : thank you. I value your
input very much. Would you all kindly forgive this gauche query:
but who exactly IS Pete Namlook? German origin? Or what?
(yes - I *know* I could do a web search ... prefer asking you though)

I've taken my life in my hands and ventured gingerly back to the
music store - in the same centre as Planet Hollywood and also
next door to the cinema complex which was evacuated this
morning due to another bomb threat ... We have explosive :-)

Now I've bought the Namlook IV as well as another Namlook "A
New Consciousness 2" - while it was playing, my 9-year old
walked in and said quizzically "what's that strange noise" <<ha!>>

Other 'gems'' I slewed up at the sale include M-Age's Under a
Cubic Sky and a very obscure looking thing: INFERENCE ENGINE
"Gravity Well". This one's really nice, but there's *so* little
information on it. Bucketloads of thank-yous to everybody, but
hardly any mention of WHO is actually involved. Any background
info?

Also a dubby On-U Sound reissue from 1981, Creation Rebel / New
Age Steppers "Threat to Creation". Can't really go too far wrong
with these releases from Adrian Sherwood's stable, can one?

Then I found a GPR CD: Hi-Ryse "Sodium" from 95 and an 11 track
V/A ride through obscurity called Quarknosis on the Kinetix label.
Jolly nice, actually :-) All in all a good haul for very little outlay,
since all of these unwanted CD's have scuffed boxes and must
have been gathering dust for the last few years.

Namlook IV is weaving its magic as I write this - thanks for the
necessary shove to get me going to buy this!

Happy weekend - from a slightly rattled Capetonian

I
