I found sort of what I had originally intended to find, if anyone's interested. It's a vari-speed CD player-emulator called Retro CD 1.5. A demo is available at various points throughout the internet (try MIT's hyperarchive), which allows for 4 hours of occasionally interrupted use upon installation, before registering for $10. It will buffer, then play audio directly off of a CD at a variable rates from 200% to 0% at degrees of %0.001. I burned a CD of some looped audio, then tooled for a bit, mixing it with records and such. Really handy for the live. Thanks for all of the suggestions, though. I think I will check out that Var-Fi plug in, Martin. You've managed to coax some great sounds out of it. -Keith __________________________________________________ Reckankreuzungsklankewerkzeuge.________________________ _________________________________PO Box 382864-2864 Cambridge, MA 02238-2864____________________________ _______________________________________________USA _______________Main URL: http://www.tiac.net/users/sheket __________________________________________________
