Something that needs to be stated is that this album is an obvious growth
from studio city. Though studio city was interesting, many of the tracks
did not go anywhere. This album has a definite progression. Buried within
the digital manipulation are some gorgeous sounds and melodies. For those
that are fammillair with the release "story of personal electronics" (Brad
Laner Side project) you will see a lot of similarites in how the sounds
are constructed. However, the tracks on Omokase have organization (which
"story.." did not have at all). I guess the overall sound is that of
Studio City merged with "Story of personal electronics". IE you get the
clever sounds merged with song like structures.
