Once again, check http://avalon.net/~kent/music/amen/ which has the original break. As has been reiterated over and over, the Amen break came from a track called "Amen Brother" which was released in 1969 by a group called The Winstons. The Amen break is something of an internet virus -- every version I've ever has been a version of the same original wav file.
