Re: (idm) a tight-arsed mailing list?

My reasons for subscribing to the list?
First of all it was the seeminly un-ending possibilities for obtaining new
music by either trading or buying that really attracted me to IDM. I have
never had so much new music to get into in my 15 odd years of collecting and
listening to the stuff.
Now its more than that - its the wealth of information that is posted
daily. I've discovered so many labels in the past few months including the
likes of Chocolate Industries, Schematic and Worm Interface. To me that can
only be a good thing, broaden my horizons and all that...
I put alot of faith in the recommendations of most people on the list, most
recently in the reviews of the Dated CD from Toshoklabs. My faith has been
rewarded yet again as it is an awesome CD.
THATS why I'm on the list - my need for new music.
Oh and listening to amusing arguements about whether AE (we're not worthy!!)
did post to the list or not...
