But i had another Yunx record that i reviewed back in 1996. It didn't have the track from 0161 on it but it was still excellent. Below is the Recoreview... . Yunx: Bill Odessey 12" (Void) The Void label is very loyal to the black dog & plaid "sound" and this four tracker keeps that "sound" going. The a-side features two tracks of string laden rhythmic techno reminiscent of Bytes era Black Dog Productions. The b-side, with it's polyrhythms and jazzy synths sounds more like "spanners" era Black Dog Productions. If you like the BDP releases of old this 12", and most other Void label 12"s are for you. 9/10 btw: Yunx is Manchester duo Iain Law and Darren Taberner.
