Asking about the CS-80 rental reminded me of these guys in Austin, who have a house that has been turned into a synthesizer wonderland. It's a studio, where you have instant access to an amazing synth and drum machine collection, all impeccably maintained and ready for action. They don't have a CS-80 there yet (they own one that is being refurbished right now), but there is an Oberheim 4-Voice, Matrix 12, Arp 2600 tonus 1972, Arp 2600 1978 mk3, the Jupiter trifecta (4, 6, 8), VP-330, Moog One, SCI Prophet 10, TR-808/909/606, LinnDrum, etc. It's a perfect set-up for bringing in your own tracks and adding super-synths.
