Ill released something pretty recently (last few weeks, I think). I cant remember what. Spunk Jazz is certainly a classy record, but probably not as good as Mealtime. Its a bit more stylistically varied though. I think the title is a send up of a Jaco Pastorius track 'Punk Jazz', although they might both be references to something else. Anyone? Speaking of drill n bass (it makes a change from glitches), can I ask again: did DJ Tiny Penis ever actually exist, or was he made up? Thanks Jorkens >Whilst I was there I picked up the Ill compilation >"Spunk Jazz", which came out a coupla years back, >but I've come to the conclusion it's the best 'drill+bass' >compilation out there. People like Paddington Breaks, >Animals On Wheels, and various other Planet-Mu >affiliated artists generally kick ass on it, and the >Bubbah's Tum track (same one as remixed by Boards >Of Canada?) is real nice too. Are Ill still releasing stuff? >Were they run by an idm artist? (I note they're out of >Ladbroke Grove in London.)
