I know the Eurorack format is (physically) small and there may not be space to do this, but I'm wondering if a module could be made "modular" in that the guts would be on one (or however many) PCB with a connector to the front panel holding the switches, LEDs and controls, and you could make both a Eurorack front panel and a 5U front panel for a single module, or just make the Eurorack front panel unless and until there's enough orders for the 5U. Here's a partly related question: Are there "standard" voltages and power connectors for 5u? Is this the original Moog modular format? I'm guessing this would be +/- 15v. I've done electronic design and I was a little disappointed to find that Eurorack is +/-12V when the traditional "standard" op-amp voltages are +/-15V. The Flanger/Chorus would be of interest to me if there was a PCB av= ailable with the SMT components already installed, and either an FPE file o= r SynthCube panel available. > > Ivan > >
