>What? The Ischemic Strokes was pretty good, and the Takeshi is excellent >however the Adult & Tucker leave much to be desired. I recommend the >Schematics, but the Adult sounds the same as all the other EA/Electrecord-type >stuff. Just my opinion. later4now! well, in the interest of arnold&willis, i guess i'll toss in my disappointment with the latest round of schematic staffs; i couldn't find a single track on the "ischemic strokes" thingy that i wanted to hear again, and then only a single one of those on the takeshi (track b2 was it?). i haven't heard the adult yet (although your description of it makes it sound like something i'd like), but of the rest of the lot, the keith tucker record was the only one that held my interest. other weird stuff i'm digging: * sluts'n'strings & 909 : carrera remixes (cheap) * various * misc (scsi) * ryuichi sakamoto : ost: love is the devil (asphodel) * phonophani : phonophani (biophon) * wunder : wunder (karaoke kalk) this is also, incidentally, my to-do list for the next urban sounds update, coming next week... sc onnow: dj qbert : wave twisters (galactic butt hair; that's on there, too)
