Okay, I know I promised to post the summed up responses about the
electro thread to the list, but I have a midterm and a paper due this
week...

Anyway I WILL finish it soon and I'm actually going to put it up on my
web pages, which I will post the URL when I'm done.

So what I'd like to add are some recommendations of old school electro
tracks that I could list on the pages as well. Here's a few of mine
to begin with:

Hashim - Al-Naafiysh
Newcleus - Jam On It (instrumental)
Imperial Brothers - Welcome Dub (Instrumental Dub)
Dynamix II - Just Give The DJ A Break
(I know this is Miami Bass, but it still kicks ass)
The Egyptian Lover - Egypt, Egypt
JJ Fad - Supersonic (Instrumental)
P.L. - TransEuropa-Express
(that's right! an electro Kraftwerk cover)

I know some of those aren't STRICTLY electro, but what is? Here are a
few that deserve mention and should be in EVERY electro collection:

Kraftwerk - Tour De France (Francois Kevorkian Remix)
Kraftwerk - House Phone
Cybotron - Clear
Herbie Hancock - Future Shock (LP)
