Hmmm... I'd say try either Porter Ricks' 'Biokinetics' or Substance's
release (name's slipped my mind). The latter is more punchy than other CR
releases, to my ears, and reminds me most of the BC comp. The former
certainly rules on spaciousness, and is generally very much
four-to-the-floor, etc.

For that matter, Monolake rules on that front too. It goes quite downbeat
and un-techno, but not in an abstract way. In fact the slow tracks remind
me, mood-wise of early Orb.

I've found Vainqueur the most abstract, followed by Various Artists.
